Crave opened in September 2004 with a passion for baking. We bake today, the same way we started, from scratch each morning cracking every egg. The best part of our day is sharing our cupcakes, cakes and cookies with our customers. We now have six Crave locations; four in Calgary, one in Edmonton and one in Saskatoon. We pride ourselves on being a great bakery and a great employer.

We are looking to add to our team a dynamic and fun individual who loves to work with people, enjoys customer service and will help our teams connect. This position involves working in our Crave locations 4 of the 5 days in your week with our amazing teams and requires regular travel to Edmonton and Saskatoon.

Your Role and Responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating alongside the Crave leadership team to prioritize work based on business needs and company direction
• Working alongside Store Managers and Human Resources to maintain a strong team environment, placing emphasis on employee development and happiness
• Understand the inner workings and expectations in both the bakery and retail functions of the stores
• Identify training needs and oversee training and development in all areas of operations
• Working with Store managers on improving operational efficiency, processes, and day to day planning. Sharing information between the stores on efficiencies, products and teams
• Designing and implementing best practices to ensure product quality, operational efficiency while maintaining the best possible customer service
• An ability to scan stores at a high level to assess needs in areas of maintenance and store care
• Identify store capacity constraints and growth opportunities and collaborate on solutions
• Communicating between bakery locations, leadership team, warehouse and order team

• An ability to help train and support members of the team in the art of providing exceptional customer service
• Derive satisfaction from others success as well as your own
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (including travel) to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, overnight and weekend shifts
• Appreciates the quality of homemade baking
• Is results driven with an outstanding work ethic
• Is an energetic and optimistic individual
• A flexible self-starter with a proven ability to work well with others


• 5+ years of managerial or higher experience in a bakery/restaurant/food business
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Your own transportation is required
