Meet Angela! A full-time baker at our Edmonton location and committed cat mom.

When asked to describe Angela, her team member Beth responded: “If there’s one thing you should know about Angela, it’s that she’s allergic to cats.. but that doesn’t stop her! She takes allergy medication just because she loves her cat so much. It’s so sweet!” 

Angela has been baking at Crave for over a year. She had experience decorating cakes before applying, and thought Crave was the perfect place to refine her skills! “I wanted to learn the entire process from start to finish, and Crave specializes in cakes and cupcakes so it just made sense.” 

In addition to learning new skills, she cites the work atmosphere as being her favourite part of the job. “It’s very playful, accepting, and kind. I also love having access to cupcakes at all times.” 

Angela was born in Mississauga, but has spent most of her life in Edmonton. She has never traveled outside of Canada, so her travel bucket list is brimming with far-away places, including Bali, El Salvador, and Hawaii. “I’d love to travel everywhere, honestly!” 

Outside of work, Angela can usually be found hanging out with her cat, Prairie, or watching movies. “I love movies! I watch tons, and I also collect DVDs.” Her current top movie recommendation is Everything Everywhere All at Once.
