Meet Haley and Brenden!

Lovebirds, Family Traditions, Strawberry and Red Velvet lovers

Haley is a long-time Crave fan; she’s been picking up treats since 2004, when we first opened our doors! Crave has been Haley’s absolute favourite place for a sweet treat since she was a little girl. She remembers taking special road trips down from Red Deer with her aunt, just to get cupcakes at our Kensington location. 

They continued this tradition for many years, and when she and her now-husband, Brenden, first began dating, she knew that she had to introduce him to her favourite cupcakes. Haley took Brenden to Crave so he’d better understand why the bakery holds a special place in her heart - obviously, he fell in love (not just with the cupcakes)!

When they got engaged, Crave was without a doubt going to be part of their wedding day! 

“We had the best experience tasting all of the amazing different flavours of cake and buttercream and decided upon 3 very different cakes for our Banff Springs wedding!”

She goes on to say that each of the cakes was an absolute hit - “People still talk about our wedding cake!” On the day of our photoshoot with Haley and Brenden, our team was able to surprise them with a recreation of one of their wedding cakes - a classic Crave-o-licious! 

They like to share memories of their special day by always making sure to pick up cupcakes to enjoy with one another on their anniversary. Crave is part of many of their special moments and celebrations - from anniversaries to birthdays. For Brenden’s 30th birthday this year, Haley was sure to order a custom cake from Crave to celebrate.
