She and her partner Mark just threw a gorgeous baby shower to welcome their little one to the world, and we’re so excited to have been a part of it! 

We sat down with Jessie to get the inside scoop on their “Over the Moon” themed party, and to find out how Crave took part in creating beautiful memories. 

Jessie explains that choosing Crave was no-brainer, since she has a special connection to the brand. “I had the opportunity to style Jodi and Carolyne for a photoshoot they were doing for Crave. Since our first shop and styling session, they’ve remained my loyal clients!” She recalls that she even hosted the entire Crave team for an event a few years back – “it was a Shop and Sip over the holidays!” 

“So, yes, I’d say there is a special connection to why we chose Crave, aside from them being the best cupcakes, of course!” 

For their event, Jessie and Mark ordered Chocolate Coconut cupcakes, our limited edition Cinnamon Bun cupcakes, and custom vanilla buttercream cupcakes with gold stars to match their theme, Over the Moon. “The cupcakes we chose all had white icing, to match the cloud-like theme of the table decorations. The venue - Le Germain lobby bar - was elevated and welcoming. Great food and drink, decorated to compliment the theme, and the cupcakes added the perfect touch of sweetness to the event.” 

Jessie’s favourite flavour at the event was Cinnamon Bun, hands down! “I love some spice mixed in with my sweets. Kinda like my personality,” she added with a laugh and big beautiful smile. 

We were especially interested to know what inspired their unique theme. “Since we aren’t finding out the gender of our babe, we gave our little bump the nickname ‘Moon’ early in our pregnancy. The ‘Over the Moon’ theme just seemed like a perfect fit!” She remarks that everything from the venue to the dessert was amazing, and that the highlight of the event was definitely family and friends coming together. “It couldn’t have been more perfect.”

Jessie and Mark will be welcoming their little one on March 24th! When asked what she’s most looking forward to about motherhood, she replied, “Oh my goodness, what a loaded question! I can’t wait for that first meet! To hold babe, feel them in my arms, stare at them for hours, letting it all sink in that I’ve created this actual human, and just how precious that feeling will be.”
