Crave opened in September 2004 with a passion for baking. We bake today, the same way we started, from scratch each morning cracking every egg. The best part of our day is sharing our cupcakes, cakes, and cookies with our customers. Crave is located in the cities of Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Kelowna. We pride ourselves on being a great bakery and a great employer.
This position will involve working in both the bakery and the retail areas of our store. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves to bake and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Responsibilities: • Act as a company advocate and embody the Crave values. • Welcome guests and deliver exceptional guest service. • Help Crave guests with in-store purchases, baking services, and future order placement. • Practice proper credit card and cash handling procedures through our point-of-sale system. • Box and package all customer baking with care. • Develop strong knowledge of Crave’s from-scratch menu to confidently support guests.
Baker Responsibilities: • Support daily baking production and bakery operations as required. • Participate in training for Crave baking practices, standards, and skills. • Practice food safety and follow all safety and sanitation guidelines. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bakery and store environment. • Be available for 5:00 AM baking shifts as scheduled.
