Crave is a bakery founded in 2004 by sisters Carolyne and Jodi, who have a passion for baking. Crave has grown to seven locations and 100 employees who share that passion and today is a leading retail bakery brand. In addition to retail bakeries, Crave also produces consumer packaged goods that can be found on grocery store shelves in Western Canada.

We’re looking for a part-time Brand Ambassador in Edmonton to represent our growing CPG brand inside grocery stores and local events. This role is perfect for someone who loves sales, loves people, and thrives on being “boots on the ground” in retail. You’ll be the face of our brand in Edmonton — building relationships with customers, advocating for better shelf placement, and working directly with store teams to ensure our product is stocked, visible, and selling. This is not a passive “hand out samples and smile” job. This is a sales + execution + relationship-building role.

Responsibilities:

 In-Store Demos + Sales Execution
• Run engaging product demos in grocery stores and retail locations
• Confidently approach customers, start conversations, and drive trial
• Communicate key product benefits, ingredients, and brand story
• Convert demos into real sales through strong customer engagement

Retail Support + Merchandising
• Check shelves to ensure product is fully stocked and merchandised properly
• Identify low inventory and locate backstock when product appears “out”
• Advocate for shelf replenishment when needed • Keep displays clean, full, and visually appealing
• Ensure price tags, signage, and promo materials are accurate and visible

Store Relationship Management
• Build positive working relationships with store managers and department staff
• Act as an extension of our internal sales team
• Report store-level issues (out-of-stocks, missing signage, poor placement, pricing errors)
• Flag opportunities for additional facings, better placement, or feature support
• Confidently advocate for promotional activity when product should be on sale or featured

Reporting + Communication
• Track demo activity, sales feedback, and store updates
• Submit short reports after each shift (photos + quick notes)
• Communicate consistently with the sales team to support execution and growth

We are looking for someone who is:

• Extremely outgoing and comfortable speaking to strangers
• Naturally persuasive — you don’t “sell,” you connect
• Reliable, punctual, and self-managed
• Comfortable working independently in retail environments
• Energetic and confident in fast-paced grocery stores
• Not afraid to ask store staff questions and follow up
• Sales-driven and motivated by results
• Professional, friendly, and polished in-store

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• Reliable transportation (you’ll be traveling between Edmonton-area stores)
• Willingness to drive to check on accounts when not performing in-person demos.
• A smartphone with internet access (for reporting + photos)
• Availability for 8–10 hours/week (typically weekends, with some flexibility)
• Ability to stand for 4–6 hours and lift up to 30 lbs
• Comfort handling product, demo supplies, and light setup/tear-down

Bonus Assets (Not Required, But Amazing)
• Previous experience in CPG demos, retail sales, or merchandising
• Experience in grocery, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
