How do I place an order?
Place an order on our website or by contacting our order team. To place an order we will need to confirm:
Your name and contact details
Date and time for pick up or delivery
Location for pick up
Details of your order including quantities and flavours
A credit card number is required for all orders
Are you open for walk-in orders?
All of our store locations are open for walk-in orders, view our store hours here. We bake fresh each morning and have lots of baking available in store each day. Please note: if you are looking for something specific we do recommend pre-orders in order to guarantee we'll have exactly what you're looking for.
What if I don't see an option to select pickup or delivery on your online store?
If you are using Internet Explorer and don’t see an option to select pick-up or delivery, please switch to a more modern browser such as Chrome or Firefox. Safari is also incompatible with our site. Otherwise, please contact our order team and they will assist you with placing your order over the phone.
How far in advance do I need to place an order?
For cookies, cupcakes and specialty cupcakes we require at least 24 hours notice (more notice may be required for weekends or during holidays, we book up quickly!). For cakes we require 48 hours notice.
What is your order cancellation or modification policy?
48 business hours are required to modify or cancel any cake, specialty cupcake or custom order. Modifications or cancellations to an order within 48 business hours will be charged for the full amount of the order to the credit card provided at the time the order was taken.

Where do you offer delivery?
We offer delivery service in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Kelowna! We require a minimum order of $25.00 for delivery.
Why can't I choose a specific delivery time?
Delivery routes are not determined until deliveries have closed. Given we organize for the next day, we cannot offer a guaranteed arrival time. Booking deadlines are as follows:

What if my delivery is unsuccessful?
We leave it to our customers to ensure someone is present to receive the delivery. If your delivery is unsuccessful, we will try calling the recipient and if we are unable to reach them we will bring the order back to our bakery. From there, a store pickup or a second delivery attempt may be arranged. Please note, our delivery charge will apply if a second delivery attempt is arranged.
Do you offer custom corporate products?
We offer custom buttercream options for our Original, Mini and Gluten Free Cupcake Packs.
Our order team will help you find the perfect colour match for your logo. Whether you’d like a single solid shade or a swirl of two, we’ll work to bring your vision to life as closely as possible.
Pricing
Custom cupcake packs are the same price as our regular cupcakes, with an added colour charge of $5–$10 based on volume.
Our order team will provide a personalized quote for every custom buttercream order.
Can I organize multiple deliveries?
Yes, our order team can help facilitate multiple deliveries for your order. Please note an additional processing fee of 7.5% will be applied to the final price.
Can you deliver across Canada?
Yes, our Dozen Mini Cupcake 2 Packs and Bake at Home line is available for shipping nationwide across Canada.
A minimum order value of $50 is required and shipping fees will be applied dependent on postal code. If you have multiple deliveries, we recommend contacting our order team to help facilitate your order.
Please note an additional processing fee of 7.5% will be applied to the final price.
When should I place my order by?
Orders may be placed at any time with 2 weeks notice.
How do I store my cupcakes and cake?
Our cupcakes are made with real, fresh ingredients. We believe it’s best if cupcakes are consumed on the day they are purchased. Please follow the do’s and don’ts below to ensure your cupcakes make it home safely and stay as fresh as possible if you plan to keep them longer than 24 hours.
DO
• Take the cupcakes out of the cardboard box, place in an air tight container and store in the refrigerator overnight or place the airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.
• Keep your cupcake box upright and stack your boxes no more than two high.
• Place the box into your recycle bin after consuming.
DON’T
• Leave your cupcakes in the cardboard box overnight, as they will dry out.
• Tip the box, otherwise your cupcakes may tumble over.
Before serving, please allow cupcakes and cakes to come back to room temperature if they have been in the freezer or the fridge.
All our buttercream icings are made with real butter. Please avoid exposing your cupcakes to direct sunlight, as it may melt the icing and/or affect the colour.
I have a peanut allergy, are your products safe for me to eat?
We do have cupcakes that do not contain any peanuts, however - our bakery is not a nut-free facility. Although we do take many precautions to avoid cross-contamination, we do not label our products as nut-free and do not recommend consuming them if you have a severe nut allergy.

Do you have any gluten-free options?
We have gluten-free chocolate or vanilla cake that comes in a cupcake or cake, paired with any of our classic buttercream icing flavours.
Are your gluten-free options safe for severe allergies?
We work with several different ingredients on a daily basis, as do some of our vendors, thus all of our products are generally considered “may contain” as far as allergies or restrictions go. We do take plenty of precautions in store, wherever possible, however we are unable to provide a 100% guarantee against cross contamination with nuts, gluten or other allergens. Generally speaking, if there is a severe allergy, we typically do not recommend consuming our products.
Do you have any vegan options?
We are excited to offer a vegan cupcake and our vegan cookies! Our cupcake, frosting and cookies are made without dairy and eggs. Our vegan cupcakes and vegan cookies do contain wheat.
Do you have any dairy-free options?
Our vegan cake and frosting are made without dairy and eggs.
Do you have any diabetic or sugar-free options?
We don't currently have any diabetic or sugar-free options.
Do you have any options that are both gluten-free and vegan?
We don't currently have any products that are both gluten-free and vegan. We have our vegan cupcake (made without dairy and eggs but does contain wheat) and we have our gluten-free cake (made without wheat but does contain dairy and eggs).
Do you make gender reveal cupcakes?
We do! Our gender reveal cupcakes can be ordered online here or through our order team at 403.270.2728 or orders@cravecupcakes.ca
Do you make cheesecake?
We don't have cheesecake but we do have cream cheese buttercream icing.
Do you offer custom cakes designs?
We are currently accepting custom orders in Calgary and Saskatoon. Please email our orderline at orders@cravecupcakes.ca to inquire.
What if I have two partially filled punch cards?
If you have multiple partially filled punch cards, please bring them into any of our bakery locations and we will combine them into a single card for you.
Can I redeem two or more fully filled punch cards at once?
Our baker’s dozen rewards free treat is limited to one per customer, per visit.
Why don't I get stamps for other products, like cookies and cakes?
Our loyalty program is currently focused on our most popular product, cupcakes. However, we hope to be able to expand our program in the future to accommodate more of our product offerings.
At which bakery locations can I use Baker's Dozen Rewards?
Baker’s dozen rewards is currently available at all Crave locations, excluding pop up shops.
If I make a purchase online, can I get my stamps?
If you place a cupcake pack order online for pickup in store, we will absolutely stamp your card upon pickup. Online order stamps are only valid on the day of pick up. Excludes delivery orders.
What is the free treat?
On your 13th purchase get a free dozen mini cupcake pack or half dozen original cupcake pack.
How do I redeem my free treat?
To redeem your free treat, please visit any of our bakery locations.

Where do you ship to?
We're currently shipping to most destinations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and PEI. To confirm eligibility, enter your postal code at checkout. If your postal code isn't available for shipping online, please reach out to our orderline team to inquire about shipping options.
Note: we’re unable to ship to Rural or PO Boxes at this time.
How does it work?
To receive your order the following week, the order cut off is Friday at 12pm MST. Orders are shipped on Tuesday's and Wednesday's using a 24–48 hour parcel service.
What products are included?
All Bake at Home products and cupcake two packs are eligible.
How is the order shipped?
All Cookie Dough, Buttercream and cupcake orders are shipped in recyclable boxes with ice packs and are insulated with terrafibre hemp. All Cake Mix orders are shipped in recyclable boxes.
If your cookie dough or buttercream arrive slightly thawed, don’t worry! We’ve lab tested and made sure they are safe to be placed back into the freezer. All you have to do is make sure you store the product in the freezer until it’s time to bake or consume the products right away.
Change and cancellation policy
Customers are no longer eligible for changes or cancellations once an order has been dispatched, including in the case of any shipping errors or delays caused by the courier.
Can I track my order?
After we have shipped your order, you will receive an email with your tracking number.
Why did we choose hemp insulation?
Using Terrafibre ensures that your items are shipped efficiently, sustainably, and with top-notch protection — all while reducing our environmental impact and giving you the opportunity to reuse the material in practical, eco-friendly ways. Upon unpacking your treats, you can remove the hemp from the plastic wrap and repurpose it as a microgreen bed or weed suppressant in your garden, or simply place the 100% biodegradable material into the compost.
I want to carry Crave products in my store. Do you offer wholesale pricing?
We do offer wholesale pricing for our cake mix, buttercream containers and cookie dough. For more information click here or contact us at wholesale@cravecupcakes.ca
Does it taste homemade?
Yes, same recipe we use in our bakeries.
Does it taste artificial?
No, we use only real ingredients.
Can I bake cupcakes using the cake mix?
Yes! Our cake mixes bake 24 cupcakes and our gluten free cake mixes bake 12 cupcakes.
What kind of gluten free flour is used?
See our ingredients and nutritional for our bake at home line here.
How long do the mixes last?
It lasts up to 1 year, please refer to the packaging for best before dates.
Can I freeze the baked cake?
Yes, it will last up to 3 months.
Can I bake only 1 or 2 at a time?
Yes! Our cookie dough comes pre-portioned, in a resealable bag so you can easily bake as many or as few as you'd like.
If I bake less than the full bag of cookies, will the baking time need to be adjusted?
No, the baking time will remain the same.
How long do they stay frozen?
It lasts up to 1 year, please refer to the packaging for best before dates.
How many cupcakes does one container frost?
Our buttercream containers frost 12 cupcakes or one 8" cake.
Does the buttercream get stored in the fridge or freezer? How long does it last?
May be stored in the fridge or freezer. In the fridge will last up to 5 days and frozen up to 1 year.
How long does the buttercream last after thawing?
5 days in the fridge.
Can I keep leftovers refrigerated? Or do I re-freeze?
Leftovers should be kept refrigerated.
Can beginners make this successfully?
Yes, no need to be an experienced baker to use our products.
What do I need to add to the mixes?
What you need to add depends on the flavour of the mix. Please visit our product pages to find out more.

We recommend booking your order 1 – 3 months in advance.
Earliest booking time
• We can place your order up to 6 months in advance.
• If your date is more than 6 months away, we are still happy to help. We cannot book your order yet, but we can provide you with our recommendations and an initial quote. Please note, that pricing and product availability is subject to change.
Latest booking time
If your wedding is less than 1 month away, we still encourage you to reach out. We do our best to accommodate every single request, so we’d love to hear from you. We prioritize urgent inquiries and will respond as soon as possible.
What if you reach capacity on my desired date?
• We like to say yes to every wedding request that comes through, so it’s rare that we reach our capacity.
• In the event there are restrictions on your date, we are happy to provide you with a few options and discuss which one works best for you.

Wedding tasting pack offer
If you order your wedding cake with Crave within one year of purchasing the wedding tasting pack, we will refund $12.50 for the cost of the tasting pack.
Consultation
We don’t offer a specific consultation appointment, but we’re happy to guide you through the process via email. We’ll be sure to cover flavors and pricing, as well as colors and the rest!
You are always welcome to stop by in store and one of our team members is happy to assist you. No appointments will be made.

We offer our Wedding Tasting Pack for purchase to taste our flavours of cake and buttercream available.
Custom colours
• Only offered in vanilla buttercream

• An additional charge is applied for custom colours. This is based on the total number of cupcakes, or the number of cakes. Our order experts will be able to quote you accurately for this.
What flavours are available with a custom colour buttercream?
We only colour vanilla buttercream. Cream cheese buttercream does not mix well with added colours causing the taste to be off-putting. Cream cheese will remain in it's natural colour.
Custom sprinkles
We're happy to offer custom fancy sprinkles in our favourite metallic colours:
• Gold
• Rose Gold
• Silver
An additional charge may apply. Ask an order expert for more details.
Custom tiered cakes
At this time, we only offer custom cakes (anything off menu) from our Hillhurst location in Calgary. A tiered custom cakes is requested to provide a minimum of 6 weeks notice, and is based on availability.
Please include this note on your inquiry form and we will confirm details and availability.
Am I allowed to update my order once it has been confirmed?
We understand things may change as your wedding approaches, so we’re happy to adjust your order as needed.
What kind of changes can I make?
We can make changes to the following:
• Contact Information
• Date & Location
• Products (Size / Quantity / Flavorus / Colours / Cake Designs)
• Updates are confirmed on a case-by-case basis, depending on what changes you’d like to make and our availability.
How and when can I update my order?
• We ask that you email us with your requested updates at your earliest opportunity.
• We can accommodate changes up to 2 weeks ahead of time.
• If your wedding is less than 2 weeks away, we cannot make any adjustments.

Can I make updates to my order if I've already paid?
• We are happy to update your order, even if it’s already been confirmed and paid for.
• If there is a change to the total cost, we are happy to amend the payment as needed, in accordance with our Modification or Cancellation Policy.
How to modify or cancel your order?
Please email orders@cravecupcakes.ca regarding changes to your order or to request cancellation of your order.
Cut-off for modifications or cancellations
• We require a minimum of 2-weeks’ advance notice to modify or cancel your wedding order.
• We will confirm the exact cut-off date with you when booking your order.
What if I have paid for my order already?
• If you contact us with more than 2-weeks’ notice we can amend the payment for you.
• We can process additional fees or provide a refund right away.
• We will email you an updated copy of your receipt for your records.
• Modifications and cancellations requested within less than 2-weeks’ notice will still be charged the full dollar amount onto the credit card provided at the time of ordering.
Confirming your order
• We require a credit card number for payment to secure the order.
• The full amount will be charged onto the credit card immediately. We do not accept partial deposits.
• A receipt will be emailed to you after we process the transaction. This will also contain a full breakdown of your order details.
• We understand you do not need to be the contact person on your big day! We will ask for a day of contact, or the details of the party picking up/receiving the order.

How can I provide my payment details?

On-site order set up
We do not offer an on-site set up service for your cake or cupcakes. Care & handling as well as transportation information will be provided upon ordering.
Cupcake or cake stand rentals
We do not offer cupcake or cake stand rentals. We have an assortment Mosser Glass cake plates available for purchase. Please note that stock varies. 3 - 4 weeks notice is advised to inquire so we can move stock around between bakeries if necessary.
If you were looking for a stand rental instead of purchasing, there are lots of event rental companies that offer this service.
Floral arrangement
We do not offer a floral arrangement service, nor do we supply flowers or greenery
Here are a few tips we can offer, to place them yourself:
• Ensure the flowers you’re using are non-toxic when consumed
• Wrap floral tape on the stem of your flowers for added food safety and to make the stems more flexible
• Get flowers of different sizes and shapes to provide the best dimension
• Remember to include small, filler flowers to create a more cohesive and full effect
Wedding delivery
Pricing for this service varies with delivery location. A complete quote for delivery is available upon request. Please note we require a 2 hour delivery window at the time of booking. Delivery service does not include set up. Starting Prices:

Calgary Long Range Wedding deliveries: $75.00 most other addresses
