Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Interaction: Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring an exceptional bakery and cafe experience. • Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of our menu, including pastries, breads, and coffee offerings, to assist customers with their selections. Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks from our menu. • Sales: Process transactions accurately using our POS system, handle cash and card payments, and provide excellent checkout service. • Store Maintenance: Keep the café areas clean and organized, including the display cases, counters, and customer seating areas. • Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff and baristas to ensure seamless service and a positive environment for both customers and team members.
The essentials:
• Customer Service Skills: A friendly and approachable demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Experience: Previous experience in retail or food service is a plus but not required—we're willing to train the right candidate! • Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work atmosphere. • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
